Wish to join our mission in providing the highest quality affordable healthcare for the uninsured? Good news! We are looking for anyone interested in joining our team here at Detroit Vitals!
If you would like to be a part of the Detroit VITALS virtual free clinic’s planning committee, please click on the button below! The planning committee consists of seven teams/subcommittees: Social Media, Education, Networking, Workflow, Advertising, Website, and Human Resources. Those who wish to join our planning committee may be considered for certain administration positions within the clinic or on subcommittees under the supervision of the Board of Directors. The descriptions for each of our teams are listed below: Website Team: The website works on the development and maintenance of the Detroit VITALS website. They are also responsible for reviewing and editing information prior to upload on the website to ensure relevance and accuracy for patients seeking treatment. Workflow Team: The workflow team focuses on creating workflows for patient care, preparing for critical situations, and helping increase efficiency for patients and volunteers. Education Team: The Education team works to develop educational materials for both patients and volunteers to inform them about how the clinic works and about common health conditions and their treatments. Social Media Team: The social media team manages the social media accounts and LinkTree for the clinic. The team focuses on clinic updates, educational content, and volunteer recruitment. Networking: The networking team seeks to establish partnerships and relationships with community centers, health professionals, and nonprofit organizations to spread awareness about Detroit VITALS and recruit volunteers. They are also working on establishing a voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) service to meet our clinic's front desk needs. Advertising: The advertising team helps spread the word about the clinic through flyers and outreach to organizations. They are also responsible for fundraising. Human Resource: The HR Committee works to establish the roles and responsibilities of the clinic volunteers. They are currently working on finalizing what the onboarding process will look like for volunteers. With a lot of hard work, the Detroit VITALS virtual free clinic has officially been declared a 501 (c) non-profit by the IRS! The team here at Detroit VITALS thanks you all for the support in this long journey. Unfortunately, while our team continues to work together to develop, support, and improve our services, there will be a delay in response time to our future patients and partners. Therefore, temporarily, we will no longer be taking phone calls. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. With that being said, we still highly encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have by email ([email protected]) or by the contact form on our website. Our team will get back to these messages and concerns as soon as possible.
Once again, the Detroit VITALS team thanks everyone for their continued support and patience at this time. |
